The 20th edition of Beroependagen will take place at the KIT – Koninklijk Instituut voor de Tropen. The KIT is established in the centre of Amsterdam close to the University of Amsterdam.

The KIT is easily accessible through public transportation. It is close to both Amsterdam Central station and Amstel Station. In case you wish to arrive by car, the KIT offers plenty of parking places. It is possible to make an online reservation for a parking place.

The aim of KIT Health is to improve access to healthcare systems in developing countries. KIT Health provides consultancy services to governments in many countries all over the world. This unit also runs
a number of educational programmes in Amsterdam (e.g. Master of International Health) and courses in the area of international healthcare. Together with the University of Amsterdam, KIT Health is responsible for the specialised course in Tropical Medicine. The World Health Organisation (WHO) recognises KIT as the WHO Collaborating Centre for the training, retention and motivation of workers in the healthcare sector.
